I believe that the steam engine was the most important invention we talked about. I think that because it got people from place to place.

During the Industrial Rev. factories became huge. The factories made production faster. It took years to make things from hand. The people now instead of making things all by themselves made portions of the place. They now make hourly pay instead of production pay. The women and children worked now with the factories. With women and children working, they payed them less.
