Taoism was found by Tao-Tzu in 550 B.C. It has approximately 20 million adherents. They believe that the god and universe are identical. They think that the purpose of life is inner harmony, peace and longevity. For their afterlife they reverted back to their non-being, which is simply the other side of being. They practice by having the general attitude of detachment. Their text is Tao Te Ching and Chuang-Tzu
